OUR MISSION
The overarching goal of Faribault’s Cradle to Career initiative is to prepare every child for success in school and in life by creating a data-based approach to organize, align, and adapt learning and community resources
WHO WE ARE
We are a public/private partnership, guided by a commitment to long-term, large-scale change throughout the community of Faribault. We connect residents, school staff, community leaders, and service providers to focus their collective efforts on addressing pivotal areas of a child’s development: early learning and development, elementary benchmarks, successful transition to middle school and high school, on-time high school graduation, and successful enrollment and matriculation from postsecondary education and career tracks. This includes not only delivering high-quality programming inside and outside of schools, but also delivering policy and systems change to break down barriers to opportunity for all members of the community, making Faribault a great place to live, work, and raise our families. Our efforts align with the World’s Best Workforce, developed by the Minnesota Department of Education, and the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), developed by the U.S. Department of Education.
